Emmitt O. Starr (Little Emmitt), age 69, graduated from earth to heaven on Saturday, February 24th, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Emmitt was born August 18th, 1954, to Emmitt and Dean Starr in Tulsa, OK. Emmitt married his soulmate, Karen Starr, on July 2nd, 1995. His children will truly miss him: Farrah and Matthew Seay, Desiree and PK Keomany, and Jerry and Jennifer McCroskey, and his fur baby Ziva that barked him all the way to heaven. His grandchildren, Deston Seay, Braylon Keomany, Kylon Keomany, Harley Seay, Jakob Seay, Jaylon Keomany, Triston Seay, Starrlet Seay, and Kayler Seay will miss him on earth as his grandchildren reunite with him in heaven, Destinee Starr and Braston Starr. Emmitt is also survived by his sisters, Gale Starr and Sandra McConnell. He also reunited in heaven with his parents, Emmitt and Dean Starr, and his baby sister, Leta Starr.

Emmitt was a hard-working retired man from Ford Glass from 1977 to 2011. He was a member of Battle Creek Church. He was a good friend to many and loved his family. He loved telling stories and making others laugh. He was very talented and succeeded in anything he did, as he was a jack of all trades. He loved watching football and golf with his family, even if he had different opinions on who the better team was. He loved sitting on the back porch, giving time to the Lord in the mornings. He was loved and will be missed by many.
