Sherri Lynn Brown was born on Tuesday, July 13, 1954 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, the daughter of Billy Monroe and Betty Lea (Singer) Deatherage. She passed this life on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 68 years of age.

The former Miss Sherri Lynn Deatherage was a 1972 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. She was married to Tony Brown on February 13, 1981 at First Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Sherri worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation from March 21, 1979 until retiring in 2020. She enjoyed reading, movies, shopping, manicures and pedicures. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
