Jerry Edward Adams, Jr., a native of Bartlesville, OK and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Friday, January 13, 2017 at the age of 62. He was the owner and operator of Ed's Tool Service and was an active member of Port City Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Edward Adams, Sr. His survivors include his wife, Angela Lawrence Adams; five children, Courtney Adams, Russell ''Rusty'' Lawrence and his fiancee', Julie Phillips, Kyndal Adams, Tiffany Owen and Jerry Edward ''Tripp'' Adams, III; his mother, Shirley Ann Sudderth Adams; two grandchildren, Jea Alec Purdom and Christopher D. ''Mikee'' Buckles, Jr.; three sisters, Sarah Adams (Jim) Eggleston, Judy Adams (Randy) Dean and Tami Lewis (Aaron) Brown; one brother, Jack Allen (Jan) Adams; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Mr. Adams' name be made to Port City Church of Christ Give to Save Fund, 2901 Hillcrest Road, Mobile, AL 36695.
