Anthony R. 'Tony' Hurst died June 10, 1997, in Lakewood, Colo. He was born Aug. 11, 1954, at Broken Arrow, to Ross and Evelyn Young Hurst. Reared in Broken Arrow, he graduated from high school there in 1972 and worked almost 20 years for Skaggs Alpha Beta/Albertson's. He worked in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Fort Smith, Ark., Dallas and Arlington, Texas. He married the former Carol Agnew, and owned and operated a convenience store with her in Boulder, Colo., for 10 years. 

Survivors include his wife, Carol, of the home; a daughter, Medea Hurst of Colorado Springs, Colo.; his mother, Evelyn Young Hurst; and sister, Rose Ann Gray, both of Ardmore; and brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Sue Hurst of Arlington, Texas; two brothers-in-law, John and Don Agnew of Bedford, Texas; and numerous other relatives.
