Kenneth Herbert Karner was born May 31, 1954, in Tulsa, Oklahoma and died May 9, 2004 in an automobile accident. He graduated Broken Arrow HighSchool in 1972, and in 1977 graduated from OklahomaState University with a B.S. in Entomology. Survivors include his wife, Janet, of the home; two sons, Cameron and Logan; one daughter, Nicole; a father, Herbert; one brother, Gary; and one sister, Valerie Kolkmann. Ken will be missed by all who knew him.

Ken was a very good friend in school. He was closer in the last few years of high school when we became even better friends. He married a fantastic girl, Janet , and was very lucky. His untimely death was such a shock to all of us and it did not seem real. He is missed greatly.

Something you may not know of Ken and his family in his early years.
Ken and his family would have my brother and me attend to the chickens by feeding, watering and gathering eggs from the hen house while they took vacations. Some of us carpooled from wrestling pratice and matches. I regret loosing track of Ken in our later years. He is truly missed.
