DEBBIE RAMPEY Leonard

I have been married to my second husband 33 years, we have raised two daughters, spent many hours on a softball fields and track meets through the years. I have been showing Pembroke Welsh Corgis since 1983 with numerous champions. Working for different veternarians, then going into a partnership at Jacox Animal clinic for the last 12 years. Now I am chasing grandkids on the football field. track meets, basketball and anything else they want to try. I have 4 from 16 to 4!! They also go to Catoosa where I raised my family. I liked it because it was small like BA USED to be. I married Chris Leonard after my first husband was killed in 79 and I could not have found a more perfect man, he is my rock and best friend and he also lives with dogs and a cat.

I quess what always stands out was the 7th grade and Mr. Riggs. We were pretty much always in trouble with spitballs on the ceiling and messing with the fishtanks!! Also poor Coach Basden, we brought the man to tears over light bulbs taken out of the bathrooms. Coach Mosby got locked out of his room and he stood on the sidewalk yelling at us to let him in. I and Jim Ragsdale got to trade licks with the paddle for that. The numerous things Donnie Holder could get you in trouble for was amazing,(he is dearly missed). Band was always a blast and I was very proud to be a part of it. Many hours of practice, but the best memory was a trip to the OU game, wool suits, heat and participation in a lively beverage was NOT a good combo. We had to march around the block with college kids getting a kick out of our misery, with some of us learning a lesson and some NOT. Proud to be a TIGER!!!!
